Healthy Brain/Prevention, Normal Aging vs. Dementia, Alzheimer's Disease, Forms of Dementia, Advance Care Planning, Current Research, Communication Techniques, Caregiver Tips, ADLs, Sundowning, Meaningful Activities, Living with Dementia, Environment and Safety, Safely Home Program, Downs Syndrome and AD, Sexuality, Anger and Agitation, Brain and Behaviour, Responsive Behaviours, Depression and Delirium, Visiting Tips.

Training Programs and Education Series Available

10 hour Alzheimer Educations Series, Gentle Persuasive Approaches in Dementia Care (GPA), U-First, Sensitivity Training: for dementia care and age related conditions, Children's education programs, Considering Long-term Care Series  & Caregiver Series.

Conferences

  • A joint conference with the Chatham and Windsor chapters will be held May 2010 in Chatham.  (details and date to be announced). 
  • A conference and research presentation are in the works for Fall 2009.
